Sr. QA Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement quality assurance practices and procedures for the company’s software;
- Prepare functional and non-functional test plans for new features and services;
- Perform manual testing of new features, assure initial release quality;
- Investigate defects and guide them to their successful resolution;
- Collaborate in a fast-paced team within an agile software development process;
- Be responsible for understanding both the business objectives and the
- technical implementation of the company’s software product line.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher or any certificates in this area would be considered an advantage;
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance;
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle;
- Fluent verbal and written English language;
- Experience in writing STP (Software Test Plan);
- Ability to give reliable time pricing for test executions as part of the STP;
- Experience in writing STD (Software Test Description);
- Experience in executing test cases and sending a clear report;
- To be comfortable working directly with developers;
- Good communication skills, and a knack for details
Experience in any of the following areas will be considered as an advantage:
- SQL, XML, HTML, Management of Web and Windows services, Fiddler, Postman, SoapUI or ReadyAPI, Load test tools, Chrome Dev Tools;
